GP Partner

Due to retirement, we are looking to recruit 1 GP to join our small, friendly, rural dispensing practice of 4610 patients – 2.5 WTE.

We value our work/life balance and never have to take work home.

The traditional family doctor role is very important to us, but we are enthusiastic about new opportunities. Our Primary Care Network is well established and provides improved access and enhanced frailty planning from our local community hospital in Sherborne. We are paired in the network with like-minded practices with whom we have good working relationships.

Yetminster is a lovely historic village (birthplace of the smallpox vaccination) surrounded by beautiful countryside with the local market towns of Sherborne and Yeovil a short drive away. The Jurassic coast, Bath, Bristol and Exeter are all easily accessible. There is a primary school in the village, an excellent state secondary school in Sherborne and a wide choice of local private schools.

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who is keen to promote high quality traditional holistic general practice. You will have the opportunity to have a significant say, and be very hands on, in the running and future direction of the practice.
