Nurse Practitioner / Paramedic Practitioner

Are you a registered Nurse Practitioner or Paramedic Practitioner / Prescriber looking to join a fantastic and diverse team? We are looking for a NP/ PP to complement our friendly team, providing care to a growing list of nearly 20,000 patients.

We have developed a model which separates out on the day from 'routine' care. We aim to provide good access for patients with urgent problems but also provide continuity for those with more complex needs.

We are a friendly combined team including 11 GPs, 5 NPs, 2 practice nurses, 3 Health Care Assistants, 1 nursing associate, a phlebotomist, 3 clinical pharmacists, a physician associate & a mental health worker. We use the EMIS web clinical computer system and offer a high standard of patient-centred care to our patients. 

We will consider applicants with the following skills:

Management of long-term conditions, particularly diabetes or asthma

and/or

Minor illness - working in our urgent care team providing on the day care. 

Hours would be part-time (full time will also be considered)
